Yes!! We have made it to the first day of Spring although it seems the weather gods have overlooked the calendar, outside the wind is whipping up a furious storm. Tucked up warm and dry inside it’s a perfect time to share Designer Guilds 2015 Spring collection.
I first discovered Tricia Guild as student at Design School. I was instinctively drawn to her vibrant use of colour, Design and Detail by Trisha Guild was my first serious design book purchase and it still has a place in my office library!
Years later Designers Guild remains one of my favorite and much used brands, I’m still fascinated by each new collection and still intrigued by the effortless colour and pattern signature of Designers Guild.
Shanghai Garden is part of the Spring 2015 Collection, here (it’s well worth following the link!) you can see behind the scenes as Tricia take you on a tour around her studio and explains the creative process. Amazingly in this digital age the collections begin life as hand painted images.
